She has worked internationally with Indigenous communities and climate initiatives, supporting governments, civil society, and global audiences to advance justice, sustainability, and collaborative solutions to pressing social and environmental challenges.
Antoinette Vermilye
Antoinette, co-founder of Gallifrey Foundation and SHE Changes Climate focuses on speedy change for good at the nexus of ocean/climate/biodiversity while identifying and mitigating for negative externalities. Her approach is eclectic: whatever it takes synching policy, science, activism and diplomacy to its best effect to achieve a healthier, safer, just world that protects all its inhabitants via a non-anthropocentric lens.
Alexa Firmenich
Alexa is an investor, consultant, and facilitator specialising in climate and biodiversity. She previously co-directed SEED at ETH Zurich’s Crowther Lab, advancing global biodiversity metrics. She founded the nature investment vehicle Naia Trust, is a board member of Mexico’s Terra Habitus, and is active as a published author, podcast host, wilderness guide, and ecological leadership facilitator.
Jojo Mehta
Jojo co-founded Stop Ecocide in 2017, alongside barrister and legal pioneer the late Polly Higgins, to support the establishment of ecocide as a crime at the International Criminal Court. She is Chair of the charitable Stop Ecocide Foundation and convenor of the Independent Expert Panel for the Legal Definition of Ecocide. She has overseen the remarkable growth of the movement while coordinating between legal developments, diplomatic traction and public narrative.
